- Intro Post and Current Projects
- November 22nd, 2013
I thought I'd go ahead and create a first journal entry! Since this journal is going to be used primarily for writing, I might as well talk about what some of my current writing projects are. I'm always writing song lyrics but I probably won't post them on here much. I may occasionally post poems or original fiction but I will mostly be posting bandom fan fiction.
Some of the bands/artists that I like to write about include: Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Escape The Fate, Avenged Sevenfold, Falling In Reverse, Cobra Starship, William Beckett, Conor Oberst, and All Time Low.
Some of my favorite pairings are: Patrick Stump/Pete Wentz, Gabe Saporta/William Beckett, Alex Gaskarth/Jack Barakat, Bert McCracken/Gerard Way, Ronnie Radke/Craig Mabbitt, and Ronnie Radke/Max Green.
I love to co-write with other authors and I really, really enjoy roleplaying. I have written at least 40 characters that I would consider fairly strong (some original). I write male and female characters but I often prefer males. Feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are ever interested in roleplaying or co-writing with me. That being said, when I roleplay I tend to give long posts. That means usually a minimum of 3 paragraphs and up to 11+ paragraphs depending on what is happening in the roleplay. My characters often have complicated backstories. I only rp/write with people 18 or older.
My current projects, which I hope to post soon, include the following:
1. Title: Lost and Found (Out)
Pairing: Pete Wentz/Patrick Stump
Anticipated # of Chapters: 2 (3 at the most).
Summary: Patrick has been in love with his best friend for almost as long as he's known him. So when Pete starts hooking up with strangers frequently, he's far from happy about it. Will Patrick's jealousy force him to be honest about his feelings for once or will it just tear apart their friendship?
Note: I hope to get part one of this up this weekend! This is being written to go along with a roleplay.
2. Title: Holding Onto Broken Glass
Pairing: Craig Mabbitt/Ronnie Radke
Anticipated # of Chapters: At least 10 (depends on how things play out and how many people read it)
Summary: Years ago, when Craig Mabbitt sung in Bless The Fall, he and Ronnie Radke were on friendly terms. In fact, they were much closer than anyone would ever guess. They were in love, but then things began to spiral out of control as Ronnie became more and more addicted to drugs. Breaking up with Ronnie was one of the hardest things that Craig ever did, except for replace him as singer of Escape The Fate. These days, Ronnie and Craig are known for twitter fights and hateful comments towards each other. But do they really hate each other as much as they seem to? When the two singers end up on the same tour, they're going to find that out, whether they want to or not.
Note: I started writing for this when Ronnie and Craig were not yet on friendly terms again like they are now. I am so happy to see them on good terms with each other now! There's even going to be a tour featuring ETF and FIR. There's a video interview of them together on youtube by Alternative Press and Alternative Press has a written interview of them together in this month's edition of the magazine.
I also have some vague ideas for 2 stories featuring Bert McCracken/Gerard Way, 1 chaptered story featuring Pete Wentz/Patrick Stump, and 1 chaptered story featuring William Beckett/Gabe Saporta.
I figure I may as well mention some basic info about myself as well. I am 25 years old and am working on my final paper to graduate college with a BA degree in English and a minor in Psychology. I will be certified to teach middle school and high school when I graduate. I have been in local bands in the past, usually as lead vocalist but I also play bass guitar. I think I'm more suited to singing though and I have written tons of lyrics, often from the point of view of whatever characters I happen to be writing at the time. I hope to one day publish a novel. I have fibromyalgia, which is frustrating because it can sometimes get in the way of my plans and often makes me unable to do as much as I would like. It can affect me physically and mentally and causes widespread chronic pain and exhaustion. Seeing a chiropractor has helped a little more than traditional medicine.
I love music and going to concerts is one of my favorite things ever. Music and Writing are what keep me going each day and without them I get very cranky. My favorite bands are Avenged Sevenfold, Escape The Fate, Falling In Reverse, Black Veil Brides, Halestorm, Fall Out Boy, New Medicine, and Bright Eyes. Notice I can't name just one!
I am the maintainer/moderator of the community bandom_slash which is a community where slash written about any bands can be submitted. I would love to see some new members and submissions. Tell all your friends!
